"Adelle Richards"
Adelle Richards began as Host of the Garden Show on Country 103.9
CHOK in April 2007. She remembers her first show, a Live Broadcast
from S.S. Greenhouses in Sarnia, because it was broadcast during a
snow storm!! Since then, Adelle has talked to many guests and
celebrities on the Garden Show including Mark Cullen and
Dennis Flanagan.
For Adelle and her loyal listeners, each show is a new learning
experience. As a novice gardener, Adelle thrives on new plant
information, helpful hints, and tried & true advice from her guest
experts.
Adelle enjoys her home backyard oasis in Sarnia, which has been
featured on Sarnia's Master Gardeners Garden Tour. She attends
Canada Blooms yearly, and was invited to the Landscape Ontario
Trial Gardens in Milton.
After a 20-year career in Radio, Adelle began a new career chapter by accepting a position in the
non-profit field, specifically, as Operations Manager & Fundraising Coordinator of Sarnia's
Inn of The Good Shepherd. Adelle invites everyone to listen to CHOK's Garden Show every
Saturday at 10am from April til October.
